About me
Hi, I’m Emily!
I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor based in Vancouver, BC.
I work with people who give a lot of themselves, and I know what it means to show up for others day after day. I understand that world, both professionally and personally. I’ve been close to first-responder family life, cancer, chronic illness, and the kind of caregiving that doesn’t come with a manual.
A lot of my clients are the people that others lean on: first responders, caregivers, and other helping professionals.
This is a space built with you in mind.
My approach
Therapy with me is relational and collaborative. We figure it out together. I’ll bring curiosity, some structure when it’s helpful, and a genuine interest in what makes you you.
My approach is grounded, integrative and relational, combining a range of evidence-based tools and tailoring the service to fit you.
The work can be deep, practical, or sometimes both in the same session. My life and work experiences shape my process, and are part of why people often feel understood here. I try to hold things with care — and yes, there’s room for some lightness along the way. Healing doesn’t always have to be heavy.
